Why your donations matter
We love the work we do, but we can’t do it without your support. Whilst some of our programmes are generously funded by trusts and foundations, local authorities and other major donors, this doesn’t cover all areas of our work. In order to offer the broad programmes we do, and make sure everyone has equal access to therapy, we have to also rely on the kindness of the public.
The need is growing
Everyday we’re getting more and more referrals for both children and their carers. The pandemic has had a long-lasting effect on our communities and our children, and they need more support than ever before.
Any donation, big or small, makes a difference
No matter the size of your donation, every penny will go towards supporting people across West London and making sure they have access to high-quality Arts Psychotherapy and therapeutic groups.
Donate the cost of a coffee
It’s a small amount to you, and maybe you spend it on the commute to work without really thinking about it. But swapping that takeaway coffee for a donation just once, or once a month could make a massive difference in the lives of the people we support.
£4.50
Donate the cost of your takeaway
Swap the weekly Deliveroo or Just Eat for a homemade meal and make a real diffference to children and young people who need to access therapy.
£18
Donate the cost of a day out
Whether it’s a trip to the theatre, a day out with the family, or a night at the pub with friends, swap this occasional treat and help support a child or family that’s been through difficult times.

Our work with children and young people
We work with children and young people across West London who have been through trauma, abuse and sometimes neglect.
We know from research and from our own experience that children identified and referred to us before the age of eight (Early Years and Key Stage 1) are more likely to succeed socially and academically, and to become more engaged in their teens. For some children participating in a small therapeutic group enables them to understand their identity and improves their language.
It’s crucial that we continue to reach those children and young people and make sure they have the support they need.
Our work with parents and guardians
Our children need support at home as well as receiving therapy. The nature of therapy produces increasing expression of children’s troubles.
Our team are called upon to help parents, guardians and foster parents to understand the nature of the children through this period of their lives.
